Books on Faith & Meaning | A Conversation with Dr. Matthew Croasmun

Tuesday, July 14, 2020, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

LIVE ZOOM EVENT

Join us for a Zoom presentation led by Yale Lecturer and Faith Initiative Director, Dr. Matthew Croasmun, introducing The Cross and the Lynching Tree by James Cone. Dr. Croasmun will provide insight into the text and a framework through which to explore Cone’s book.

Our Books on Faith & Meaning series consists of monthly presentations introducing selections from the Faith & Meaning section of the Grace Farms Library. Spanning multiple religious and philosophical traditions, both ancient and contemporary, these texts encourage us to think critically about the meaning in our lives.
