Dr. Matthew Croasmun is the Foundation’s first Faith Initiative Director. In this role, he develops and implements opportunities for contemplation, dialogue, and study across a variety of religious, spiritual, and ethical traditions.
In addition to his work at the Foundation, he also serves as an Associate Research Scholar and Director of the Life Worth Living Program at the Yale Center for Faith and Culture and Lecturer of Divinity & Humanities at Yale University. He completed his Ph.D. with distinction in Religious Studies at Yale in 2014. In addition to a decade of teaching experience at Yale University, he is the author of three books and is a frequent guest lecturer.
