Grace Farms Tour
A Virtual Conversation with Survivor & Advocate Victor Rivas Rivers
“Domestic violence is learned in the home and in relationships”
– Victor Rivera Rivers
Victor Rivas Rivers, actor, athlete, author, and national spokesperson for the National Network to End Domestic Violence, will join Justice Initiative Deputy Director Alina Marquez Reynolds to discuss the importance of understanding the many facets of domestic violence and the role we can all play—including men, to shift the culture. Victor’s mother encouraged him at a young age to start speaking out against family violence in order to have a positive impact on the whole community, which led him to write his memoir of abuse and survival, A Private Family Matter.
Listening to survivors is critical to the prevention of domestic violence. Please join us for this important discussion.

Grace Farms Foundation’s interdisciplinary humanitarian mission is to pursue peace through five initiatives — nature, arts, justice, community, and faith — and Grace Farms, a SANAA-designed site for convening people across sectors. Our stake in the ground is to end modern slavery and gender-based violence, and create more grace and peace in our local and global communities.
