Living in the World as if It Were Homewith Author Tim Lilburn

Tuesday, July 13, 2021, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

LIVE ZOOM EVENT

How can we aim our desires and longings to cultivate a divine relationship with the earth, our common home? Tim Lilburn, a Canadian poet, essayist, and professor at the University of Victoria, will join Dr. Matthew Croasmun to discuss his book, Living in the World as if It Were Home, a collection of meditations steeped in mysticism and ecological poetry.  This book, the first of a trilogy, proposes seeing the natural world in a new way, bringing us closer to creation and flourishing life for all.

Our Books on Faith & Meaning series consists of monthly presentations introducing selections from the Faith & Meaning section of the Grace Farms Library. Spanning multiple religious and philosophical traditions, both ancient and contemporary, these texts encourage us to think critically about the meaning in our lives.
