Start the day with purpose by experiencing a premium coffee tasting guided by Adam Thatcher, Co-Founder and CEO of Grace Farms Tea & Coffee. In the Pavilion with autumnal views, Thatcher will share tastes and stories of crafting and sourcing exceptional Fairtrade coffee.
This program marks the first day of Fairtrade Month, which brings attention to the Fairtrade Mark, the most recognized ethical label in the world. There will be three sessions. Registration includes a fresh bag of Grace Farms coffee, which supports women-led co-ops and their communities.

Adam Thatcher is co-founder and CEO of Grace Farms Tea & Coffee. He envisioned the model of a nonprofit-owned business after learning about the innovative social enterprise structures possible under the IRS code while getting his MBA at NYU.
Prior to Grace Farms Tea & Coffee, Adam served as the Director of Operations and Sustainability for Grace Farms Foundation from 2015 – 2020. With a passion for ethical and environmental sustainability efforts, Adam led Grace Farms’ LEED Silver Certification for Operations + Maintenance. Before joining Grace Farms, Adam served as the Director of Food and Beverage at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts in Lake Tahoe, California. In 2014 Adam was name of the 10 most impactful leaders in the ski industry under the age of 30.

What we choose to build — and how we design and build it — are questions explored at Grace Farms and through our Design for Freedom movement. This season offers unforgettable experiences including one-of-a-kind concerts, nature workshops, wellness tea retreats, and programs spotlighting world-renowned leaders, prolific thinkers, and thought-provoking creatives—inviting people of all ages to come to Grace Farms and consider their individual and collective power to build a better world.
