A Conversation with Prof Xavier Pickett
Caring for Community
In times of crisis, we look to our communities for friendship, support, and healing. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Grace Farms’ Community Initiative has been supporting members of our community – from healthcare workers, to non-profits, to working families – by providing nutritious food for the rising number of food insecure during this crisis.
Aside from providing sustenance during these unprecedented times, we realize our communities are living with heightened uncertainty and stress. Our Caring for Community series consists of three different programs, developed in collaboration with organizations and professionals that focus on well-being, to provide ongoing support for our community.
Movement for Healing
Pilin Anice, a movement and wellness leader, leads us through Movement to Relax and Movement to Energize. These programs will equip you with the tools to breathe, relax, and be in your body as we navigate this unprecedented time.
Tending to our Trauma
Mary Fetchet, Founding Director of Voices Center for Resilience, shares her experience providing continuity of care in times of crisis and beyond. Learn how we can all help to promote resiliency as our communities begin to re-open.
