Warrie Price is President of The Battery Conservancy, an organization she founded in 1994, to design and revitalize New York’s birthplace park, The Battery, and its 25 waterfront acres. She built partnerships with city, state, and federal agencies and raised over $170M in public and private donations to achieve this goal.
Warrie began her career in government in the U.S. Foreign Service as Assistant Cultural Attaché in Santiago, Chile. She was awarded a fellowship from the Kennedy School at Harvard University, where she received a Master of Public Administration. She was then recruited to the Bureau of Budget where she began her lifelong love affair with New York City.
