Richard’s work spans a range of scales and typologies, focused on expanding the civic capacity of the landscape. Projects such as the competition-winning design for Hunts Point under the Rebuild by Design initiative, the new U.S. Embassy in London, and Dilworth Park in Philadelphia. Richard is currently helping lead the development of the Los Angeles River Master Plan, a new, unified vision for the 51-mile corridor to reconnect the river to the diverse communities of LA County and to one another, while addressing significant flooding risks along the river corridor. Richard serves on the board for Studio Ludo, an innovative play research non-profit, and regularly provides pro-bono design services through Philadelphia’s Community Design Collaborative.
