For 20 years, Eric has developed a diverse career as a nonprofit executive focused on the intersection of violence prevention, youth development, and LGBTQIA+ issues. From 2008-2013, he served as Director of Education and Programs for Break the Cycle, during which time he created the first national dating violence prevention campaign conceived exclusively for the LGBTQ+ youth community; two prevention curriculums, including the first service learning-based healthy relationships program; and education resources distributed to over 2,500 schools and service providers nationwide. In 2013, Eric opened a private consulting firm, Cercle D’Or Consulting, guiding violence prevention agencies on program development, fund advancement, and staff training.
Since 2018, Eric has served as President and CEO of the Los Angeles Rebellion Rugby Football Club, one of the leading voices in the movement to promote inclusivity and equality in amateur sport (and a proud member of the International Gay Rugby Association); and in 2021, became a Founding Board Member of the RugbyLA Foundation, a nonprofit partnership with Major League Rugby’s Los Angeles Giltinis to support youth and families in Los Angeles.
