Supervisory Customs and Border Protection Officer (SCBPO) Brian Beck is currently assigned to the New York Field Office (NYFO). He is embedded as a Task Force Officer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Eurasian Organized Crime Squad (C-24), which is tasked with dismantling transnational organized crime. SCBPO Beck also provides support to the FBI’s entire New York Criminal Division while overseeing CBP Task Force Officers assigned to multiple criminal investigative task forces in New York and New Jersey.
SCBPO Beck began his law enforcement career when he joined the United States Border Patrol in 2010. He spent three years working as a Border Patrol Agent on the Southwest border and then transferred to the Office of Field Operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport in 2013. SCBPO Beck worked in a variety of enforcement positions at JFK International Airport before joining the Tactical Terrorism Response Team (TTRT) in 2015. He spent the next three years there combating terrorism, during which he was promoted to a Supervisory Officer.
