Alan Ricks is a Founding Principal and the Chief Design Officer of MASS Design Group. In 2022, MASS was named the Architecture Firm of the Year by the American Institute of Architects, in 2020 the Wall Street Journal named MASS Innovator of the Year, and in 2017 they were awarded the National Design Award for Architecture.
The Royal Institute of British Architects honored Alan with an International Fellowship in 2018. He is a member of The Forum of Young Global Leaders with the World Economic Forum, and has taught at the Yale School of Architecture and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
