Experience moments of peace and tranquility with improvisational arrangements of seasonal music, performed by local musicians and curated by acclaimed saxophonist and Grace Farms Music Director Marcus G. Miller.

Imagine the Sanctuary has transformed into your family’s living room. And imagine the performers are your cousins, who happen to be fantastic musicians, joyfully playing seasonal music and songs of togetherness. As they play, they’ll share stories about lessons they’ve learned this year, the inner workings of their craft, and their lives as professional musicians. We hope that their art and their experience will serve as opportunities to explore what this season means for you.

Our Friday, November 25 program will feature Paul Pesco, an American session guitarist, singer-songwriter, film score composer, and music producer. After beginning in the music business as a rehearsal technician at S.I.R. Studios in New York, Paul soon found himself playing guitar on Madonna’s self-titled debut album. Throughout the 80s, he was known as one of the go-to session musicians for a host of high-profile artists and has since played with Steve Winwood, Annie Lennox, Chaka Kahn, Al Green, Joan Baez, The System, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, among others. He was the lead guitarist and musical director for Hall & Oates and later toured with Hall’s solo band. In 2001, he served as the musical director and guitarist for Jennifer Lopez.
