It’s World Bee Day! Master Gardener Lauren Elliott invites guests of all ages to learn about the buzzing world of backyard beekeeping. This morning features Tammi Worsham, Chair of the Outreach Committee at the Back Yard Beekeepers Association in Weston.

Returning to our calendar this summer, Meet the Bees programs explore and celebrate the life of bees and the role they play in our ecosystems and food systems. These educational and interactive programs invite a sensory journey where you can hear the hum of the hive, smell the fragrance of native plants, and taste the honey produced by local bees.

Meet the Bees occurs next on Saturday, June 24, July 22, and August 26. This event takes place rain or shine.
