The Demand for Ethical Supply | Blockchain as a Force for Global Good

Friday, June 7, 2019, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Wharton School professor and author, Kevin Werbach, discusses his book The Blockchain and the New Architecture of Trust, an often-misunderstood technology that has the potential to help us overcome the crisis of trust that has engulfed our world. In doing so, blockchain technology can become a powerful force for social good, enabling open business models that could contribute to transparent supply chains.

The Demand for Ethical Supply is a series of conversations exploring emerging strategies in the fight against labor trafficking in our supply chains. Other conversations include Conscious Consumerism on May 3 and What A.I. Can Teach Us About Fairness on May 23.
