Today’s performance features Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter Alita Moses. Moses is known for her soulful voice and remarkable versatility. She is a band leader, educator, and vocalist who earned a degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her talent sparked international recognition after winning the Shure Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition in 2014. She has since shared the stage with jazz titans such as Al Jarreau and Chris Botti, world class orchestras like the National Symphony Orchestra and the Philly POPS Orchestra, and big name acts including Shawn Mendes, Bilal, Corinne-Bailey Rae, and Jacob Collier. Her first single, “Still” is available on all streaming platforms.
Songs of the Season is curated by Grace Farms Music Director Marcus G. Miller. It is free and included with daily registration. Parking is on a first come, first served basis; carpooling and ride sharing is encouraged.
