With the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and community in mind, Grace Farms has temporarily closed to the public as of March 9 and remains closed. All events and programs scheduled during that time are cancelled or will be rescheduled for a later date.
Due to the temporary closure, we are cancelling Astronomy at Grace Farms | Mercury and Venus.
Although Grace Farms is temporarily closed, the work of Grace Farms Foundation continues through our work to serve the needs of our community during these challenging times. Learn more about our work to donate food to our neighbors in New Canaan and surrounding communities.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Grace Farms for a future astronomy program when we re-open. Please check our website and subscribe to our newsletter for additional updates.
Search the skies for Mercury and Venus as they reach their greatest angular distance. Astronomer Tim Haag will discuss these unique planets and attempt to catch a glimpse during their brightest period.
Astronomy at Grace Farms encourages visitors to discover the beauty of the stars against dark skies. With 80 acres of open space located at the one of the highest elevations in New Canaan, our Astronomy programs offer incredible viewing opportunities complemented by the celestial expertise of Astronomer Tim Haag and Nature Initiative Director Mark Fowler.
Please bring your binoculars. Visibility is dependent on the weather.
