Grace Farms Foundation and the Interfaith Council of Southwestern Connecticut invite you to join us for an Interfaith Seder led by Grace Farms Foundation’s Faith Initiative Director Matt Croasman, Rabbi Joshua Hammerman of Temple Beth El, Reverend Mark Lingle of St. Francis Episcopal Church, and Dr. Kareem Adeeb, former Board President of the American Institute for Islamic and Arabic Studies.
Following an abbreviated Passover Seder, we will discuss how our religious traditions teach us to respond to the current moment, when violence in our world and houses of worship seems to be pervasive. Our conversation will explore the similarities and differences that Jews, Christians, and Muslims have with regard to forgiveness, and the significance of never forgetting the tragedies that harm our communities and impact our humanity.
The Seder meal will be symbolic. Light refreshments will be served.
