Growing Community | Extending the Life of Your Garden

Wednesday, September 19, 2018, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Learn how to extend your harvest and care for your garden through the winter months during this three-class series on sustainable gardening. During our first class, Grace Farms Foundation’s Operations Manager and Sustainability Coordinator, Ashley Kenney, will lead a discussion on how to extend your growing season and Leah Jones, Pastry Chef in the Commons, will share the best ways to preserve your harvest for the winter months. Learn how to plant a fall vegetable garden and tips for drying, freezing, and preserving your harvest during the slow growing season.

Join us for other classes in our Growing Community series. Register online for Growing Community | Planting Bulbs and Growing Community | Winter Gardening.
