Create your own seasonal bouquet from locally grown flowers, herbs, and foliage with our Director of Horticulture, Kimberly Kelly. Inspired by the slow flower movement, this hands-on workshop promotes seasonal and sustainable cut flowers and emphasizes the importance of knowing the origin of your flowers.
Our monthly Gardening Workshops invite you to explore sustainable, native-friendly, and eco-conscious practices that can benefit plants, animals, and the planet. Each hands-on workshop features a topic that aligns with the season and is designed for all levels of experience.
Kimberly Kelly has over 25 years of experience facilitating and educating communities about horticulture and ecology (nature conservation). Formerly at UCONN Extension, CT DEEP, and the CT Science Center, she is a UConn Advanced Master Gardener, serves as President of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Butterfly Exhibitors and Suppliers, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Master Gardener Association.
