Family Arts Workshops | Meredith Monk’s Dancing Voice/Singing Body

Discover the many ways that you can sing and dance at the same time. Ellen Fisher and Katie Geissinger, members of Meredith Monk’s award-winning vocal ensemble, will lead a special Family Arts Workshop where children will learn to combine voice and movement using unique and creative approaches. Activate your imagination and experience some of the ways that Meredith Monk creates work that she has shared with audiences from around the world for over fifty years.
10:30 – 11:15 am | Ages 3-5, with caregiver
11:30 am – 12:30 pm | Ages 6-10, with caregiver
Join us on Friday, February 2 for a work-in-process presentation of Cellular Songs, the newest in a series of music theater pieces by the pioneering composer, singer, director/choreographer, Meredith Monk.
