A Hindu Theology of Liberation with Author Anantanand Rambachan

Friday, March 12, 2021, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

LIVE ZOOM EVENT

How can the Hindu tradition Advaita Vedānta inform contemporary conversations surrounding justice, dignity, and the equality of human beings, to disrupt systems of patriarchy, homophobia, and inequality? Join us for a Zoom conversation with Faith Initiative Director, Dr. Matthew Croasmun and author Anantanand Rambachan, as they discuss his book A Hindu Theology of Liberation and explore how Hindu traditions have contributed to modern struggles for liberation and how they can continue to do so within contemporary contexts and concerns.

Our Books on Faith & Meaning series consists of monthly presentations introducing selections from the Faith & Meaning section of the Grace Farms Library. Spanning multiple religious and philosophical traditions, both ancient and contemporary, these texts encourage us to think critically about the meaning in our lives.
