Birdwatching at Grace Farms | Spring Migration

Saturday, May 2, 2020, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

With the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and community in mind, Grace Farms temporarily closed to the public on March 9 and remains closed.

Although Grace Farms is temporarily closed, the work of Grace Farms Foundation continues.

The Grace Farms Relief Fund for Connecticut, which was established with private donations totaling $2.5 million, to address the critical shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for health care workers in Fairfield and New Haven counties. Grace Farms Foundation has also organized the Grace Farms Alliance Against COVID-19, an effort comprised of more than half a dozen partner organizations to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

Learn more about what we are doing to help serve our community during this time and our COVID-19 response effort.

Join Master Birder, Frank Mantlik, and Grace Farms Foundation’s Nature Initiative Director, Mark Fowler, for a guided walk of Grace Farms’ Walking Trails in search of the spectacular birds migrating north for the summer. Birdwatchers of all ages and experience are invited to learn more about our local natural world and discover the species that make Grace Farms their home.

We’ll be walking on mown trails, which may be wet, so please wear appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring your binoculars.

Spring Migration birdwatching walks are offered on Saturdays, May 2, May 9, May 16, and May 23.
