Practicing Silence | The Quiet Circus

Saturday, November 18, 2017, 10:30 am - 5:30 pm

Explore Silence with Grace Farms Foundation’s Arts Initiative this fall through a contemplative and participatory public art project developed by The Quiet Circus artists David Brick and Maiko Matsushima. As part of the Foundation’s ongoing Practicing series, The Quiet Circus Landscape Game invites members of the public to interact with nine found objects inspired by the history of Grace Farms. During the game, participants in groups of two take turns placing the objects within the landscape, creating both a performance and temporary installation that aims to draw attention to the objects’ relationship to one another and to their shared surroundings.

Watch a short video about The Quiet Circus Landscape Game

The Landscape Game, available on Saturdays from October 28th to November 25th, is appropriate for ages 5 and older and will be located outdoors. While limited player slots are available, everyone is invited to observe the game.
