Joining in April 2023, A.J. brings to Grace Farms a wealth of financial and operational experience from the corporate arena as well as valuable experience as a board member from local not-for profit organizations, including many years with the New Canaan Area YMCA.
Most recently, A.J. was the CFO at Remedy Analytics (now a part of the Brown & Brown family of companies), a tech-enabled consultancy that assists employers in optimally managing their prescription drug plans. Prior to that he held the dual roles of CFO & COO at PIRA Energy Group, an energy-markets consultancy (now part of S&P Global), where he not only provided leadership in the finance and accounting areas, but also in sales and marketing, legal/compliance, and HR.
The cross-disciplinary skillset built in these roles has provided him with a unique vantage point when approaching organizational challenges, maximizing opportunities and growth, and achieving measurable outcomes. A.J. is applying this holistic and multi-faceted approach to analyzing the financials, KPIs and local and global impacts associated with the world-changing work of Grace Farms, helping the Foundation identify and leverage sound financial strategies and efficient pathways forward.
A.J. received his B.A. in English literature from Dartmouth College.
