Luciana Varkulja received her Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia GSAPP in 2012 and her Bachelor in Architecture and Urban Design from FAUUSP at University of São Paulo, Brazil. She is the founder and principal of uma architecture & design. Varkulja researches the politics of extraction and issues of supply chain. She is an Adjunct Professor at USC School of Architecture and a Senior Lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design.
