Florian Idenburg is a Dutch architect and founder of SO–IL. SO–IL builds future culture. From their Brooklyn studios, Idenburg works on projects worldwide alongside co-founder Jing Liu and a team of like-minded collaborators. With a focus on cultural projects, their well-recognized projects range from furniture to large-scale masterplans. Idenburg is also a distinguished author and educator, currently in the role of Professor of Practice at Cornell AAP.
Idenburg and Liu were the 2022 Arts and Letters Award in Architecture recipients.
