David Jones is the President and Founder of Alberta Says No More, Canada’s first chapter of No More. David is born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he works as a patrol Constable with the Calgary Police Service. Over David’s 11-year career in policing, he spent approximately 3.5 years in the Domestic Conflict Unit where he worked with community partners and survivors of domestic violence, helping survivors navigate the complex support systems.
Prior to policing, David worked with a local post-secondary institution in Government and Community Relations. For David’s work with the community and volunteerism, David was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Accession of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second to the Throne as Queen of Canada. David is one of 60,000 recipients in Canada to receive this medal.
In his spare time, David is busy with his young family.
