Family-Friendly Activities For Fall 2022
Fall is for families at Grace Farms! Join us this season for special programming designed to engage the entire family, from grandparents to children of all ages.
Tuesdays, November 1, 8, and 15 | 4:30 – 5:30 pm

girls ages 8-13
Girls are invited to take part in this three-part series designed and led by renowned yoga, dance, meditation instructor and wellness expert Pilin Anice. In this interactive workshop, girls practice mindfulness and self-expression to discover the power of their voices and bodies.
Participants may attend one or all classes, and may bring their own mats, towels, props, and water.

ages 11-17
Under the guidance of Grace Farms Chef Neena Perez, kids will learn how to cook and bake during beginners classes that emphasize good nutrition, organizational skills, communication, and teamwork. Students may enjoy what they cook during class or bring it home to share with others. We supply all ingredients, recipes, and cooking tools.
Please note: We are a peanut-free, allergen sensitive site. We are NOT a 100% gluten, dairy, or nut-free facility. Parents or legal guardians must sign a waiver at drop-off.

Future astronauts and science fans, learn about the Geminids Meteor Shower.
We’ll have two telescopes for enhanced viewing, gravity simulations, hands-on art projects, and more to assist in your exploration of this unique night sky. In case of inclement weather, attendees can view live feed from another telescope and use an infrared camera to better understand how we explore space. This program is hosted in partnership with the Connecticut Science Center.

Stop by our studio during your visit for a space where kids can think, play, and create. Children and families can spend time together experimenting with new materials and art-making techniques during this facilitated program series.

It’s story time in the Library! Join us for half an hour to listen to children’s stories from our curated selection of books exploring topics of nature, arts, justice, community, and faith related to our ongoing programs and initiative work.
