Nature’s Classroom | Natural Plant Propagation

Saturday, June 22, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Explore the living classroom that is Grace Farms’ nature preserve to learn about natural plant propagation and how plants are able to flourish in nature without our help. Letting nature do what it’s meant to do is a sustainable practice and extremely beneficial for the environment!

Nature’s Classroom is a monthly program series inviting hands-on and seasonal explorations of the Grace Farms nature preserve to deepen learning, appreciation, and connection to the natural world. This series is designed for teens and adults and hosted by Grace Farms Horticulture Director Kimberly Kelly.

Kimberly Kelly has over 25 years of experience facilitating and educating communities about horticulture and ecology (nature conservation). Formerly at UCONN Extension, CT DEEP, and the CT Science Center, she is a UConn Advanced Master Gardener, serves as President of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Butterfly Exhibitors and Suppliers, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Master Gardener Association.
