The warm and natural quality of the wood throughout the River building is an integral part of the building’s design. Take a walking tour with our Architecture Advisor, Toshihiro Oki, for a closer look at how wood was utilized as one of the main building elements, how trees felled onsite during construction were repurposed into the communal wood tables in the Commons, chairs, and other furniture, and more.
