A Framework for Freedom Creating Partnerships to Combat Modern Slavery

Friday, January 17, 2020, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a panel during National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month to discuss the critical role that public-private partnerships play in eradicating modern slavery.

Local and federal law enforcement are crucial partners in combating human trafficking, yet there are few organizations that focus their resources on collaborating with these agencies by providing the tools and knowledge required for effective prevention, investigation, and prosecution-related measures and policies. This program will provide an opportunity for the public to hear directly from a survivor and from a panel of experts dedicated to fighting this crime, while highlighting the value that Grace Farms Foundation provides through anti-trafficking law enforcement training and capacity building.

Panel Participants

Lieutenant Terry Blake, Norwalk Police Department

Donna Hubbard, Survivor

Rod Khattabi, Chief Accountability Officer and Justice Initiative Director

Alina Reynolds, General Counsel and Senior Advisor to the Justice Initiative
