About the Community Garden
The Community Garden is home to a variety of organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, brambles, and native flowering plants that feed our pollinators. It’s open to visitors for daily pop-up talks centered around climate-positive garden care and biodiversity, as well as educational programming throughout the year covering beekeeping, organic gardening, planting, and more. Produce harvested in the garden is either donated to local organizations or incorporated into meals made by our culinary team in the Commons.
Grace Farms supports UCONN’s Extension Master Gardener program by facilitating weekly summer classes focused on organic gardening and regenerative agricultural practices.
