Innovative Strategies to Advance Food Equity
In March 2020, Grace Farms closed in response to the emerging COVID-19 pandemic and re-purposed our facilities and resources to provide healthy meals, produce, and pantry staples to vulnerable communities in Fairfield County. By leveraging our existing relationships with several local not-for-profit organizations, we were able to target our donations and support our partners, allowing them to divert their time and scarce resources to deal with other critical issues, including housing and medical needs.
As the economic and humanitarian impact of the pandemic continues, and our commitment to addressing food insecurity deepens, we are raising awareness about this ongoing issue by highlighting the organizations achieving profound change through innovative strategies and collaborative models.
The videos below tell their impactful stories and invite you into the mission of advancing equity through sustainable food systems.
