Since the first quarter of 2020, researchers have moved rapidly to examine the impact of the coronavirus and policies designed to stop the spread of the virus on a wide array of outcomes. This report contributes to the growing body of research by moving beyond narrative reviews of domestic violence trends to provide a systematic review and meta-analysis of the effect of COVID-19-related restrictions on reported incidents of domestic violence.
