Living Sustainably | Beyond Recycling

Friday, August 18, 2017, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Discover how to live a more sustainable and eco-conscious life. After our August Community Dinner, Grace Farms Foundation will welcome Scott E. Thompson, a Certified Sustainability Professional, to discuss simple, effective lifestyle changes that can start you on your way to a greener life.

Visit Grace Farms’ Community Garden before the program at 7 pm to meet Ashley Kenney, our Garden Manager and Sustainability Coordinator, explore the garden, and enjoy a cup of herbal iced tea. With 20 raised beds, Grace Farms Community Garden is home to more than 50 varieties of vegetables, herbs, fruits, and plants that provide produce from May through November. All produce is used in the Commons or donated to the community.

Click here to register for our August Community Dinner, which will precede the program.
