Take in 360-degree views of the ever-present nature preserve while exploring aspects of the building\, including its sustainable design\, curated interiors\, and materials choices. During the tour\, sample a cup of tea from Grace Farms Tea & Coffee\, a Certified B Corp committed to demonstrating and educating about ethical and sustainable supply chains. \nThe double LEED-certified River building was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning firm\, SANAA. SANAA and Grace Farms were awarded the prestigious 2014/2015 Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize (MCHAP). Formerly at UCONN Extension\, CT DEEP and the CT Science Center\, she is a UConn Advanced Master Gardener\, serves as President of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Butterfly Exhibitors and Suppliers\, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Master Gardener Association.

This six-part series is led by Tea Expert and Educator\, Frank Kwei.\n\n\nFrank Kwei welcomes the public with a simple cup of tea and invites them into a deeper appreciation of the intentionality of SANAA’s architecture and the impact of the Foundation’s work to advance good in the world.\n\nBefore joining Grace Farms\, Frank co-founded and managed a boutique tea company based in Brooklyn\, New York\, and spent several years focused on the sourcing and supply chains for tea ingredients. Frank has brought that experience to the Foundation’s work on ethical and sustainable supply chains across sectors\, including tea\, coffee\, food\, and architecture.
