SUMMARY:Annual Benefit | Reimagining Architecture
DESCRIPTION:This Event is Sold Out. Thank you for your support of Grace Farms!\nGrace Farms Foundation will celebrate its 7th anniversary with its annual benefit\, an immersive evening with dinner and dancing in the SANAA-designed River building among a dynamic fall landscape and community of supporters. This year’s theme\, Reimagining Architecture\, invites us to come together\, rethink our relationship to the built environment\, and contemplate ethical choices that create a more humane future. Tickets are currently sold out. \nThis special evening will include: \n5 pm: cocktails and artist encounters \n6:15 pm: music feature \n6:30 pm: dinner with a featured performance by Grammy Award winning vocalist and saxophonist\, Camille Thurman\, and presentation of the evening’s honorees \n8:30 pm: dancing and music by DJ Clean who “specializes in Open Format Djing which means he can provide an eclectic mix within a single night. His extraordinary talent to play for diverse crowds is why he is considered “The Sound of The People.” \nSince Grace Farms’ founding as a new kind of public space that brings together people from all ages and backgrounds\, we have reimagined architecture and its relationship to nature and people. This relationship has galvanized new outcomes locally and globally\, from providing food relief to those in our community to advocating for our environment and advancing the ambitious goal of removing forced labor from our architecture. This year\, against the backdrop of an expansive preserve and fall sky\, we invite you to engage with possibilities and consider a world where sustainability extends beyond architecture’s impact on our environment and people. \nThis event raises sustaining funds for Grace Farms Foundation’s interdisciplinary programs\, including the Design for Freedom movement\, initiated by Grace Farms to eliminate forced labor from the building materials supply chain. \nJoin us at the Grace Farms annual benefit\, as we rethink our relationship with the built environment and design a more humane future. \n\nOn behalf of the Grace Farms Foundation Board of Directors and event Co-Chairs\, two distinguished honorees will be recognized for their innovative contributions to the Design for Freedom movement: \nNina Cooke John | Founding Principal\, Studio Cooke John Architecture + Design\, Shadow of a Face\, Harriet Tubman Monument | Design for Freedom Pilot Project \nDebbie Propst | President of Global Retail\, MillerKnoll \n  \nco-chairs \nAbby Bangser \nAngela Mwanza \nPatricia Gruits \nSilvia Baldini \n  \nfeaturing \nMusic Direction by Marcus G.
