Meet the Authors | Life Worth Living: A Guide to What Matters Most

Thursday, April 13, 2023, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Five years ago, our Faith Initiative hosted the first-ever Life Worth Living course outside of Yale University, inviting a broader audience into the curriculum right here at Grace Farms. This April, join us in the Sanctuary to celebrate the release of Life Worth Living: A Guide to What Matters Most, which shares the insights of this unique curriculum with everyone.

Kelly Corrigan, New York Times bestselling author and host of Tell Me More on PBS and the Kelly Corrigan Wonders podcast, hosts a conversation with the co-authors of Life Worth Living: A Guide to What Matters Most: theologians Miroslav Volf, Founding Director of the Yale Center for Faith & Culture, Matthew Croasmun, our Faith Initiative Director and Director of the Life Worth Living Program at the Yale Center for Faith & Culture, and Ryan McAnnally-Linz, Associate Director of the Yale Center for Faith & Culture.

A celebratory book signing will follow the conversation.

Kelly Corriganhas been called “the voice of her generation” by O Magazine and “the poet laureate of the ordinary” by HuffPost. She is the author of New York Times bestselling memoirs The Middle Place, Lift, and Glitter and Glue and Tell Me More, and, for kids and grads, Hello World! She is the host of Tell Me More on PBS and the Kelly Corrigan Wonders podcast, which releases three episodes every week and has been downloaded 10 million times.

Miroslav Volf is the Henry B. Wright Professor of Theology at Yale Divinity School and director of the Yale Center for Faith & Culture, and was awarded the 2002 Grawemeyer Award in Religion for Exclusion and Embrace, which was named one of the one hundred most influential religious books of the twentieth century.

Matthew Croasmun is the director of the Life Worth Living program at the Yale Center for Faith & Culture, a lecturer in humanities at Yale College, and the faith initiative director at Grace Farms Foundation. He is the author of The Emergence of Sin and Let Me Ask You a Question, as well as a coauthor with Volf of For the Life of the World: Theology That Makes a Difference.

Ryan McAnnally-Linz is the associate director of the Yale Center for Faith & Culture.
