There will be self-guided activities available all day\, including Birdwatch Bingo\, games in the court\, and so much more. \nOur Earth Day schedule of activities includes: \n10 am – 4 pm\, Arts Studio\nOpen Arts Studio | Sound Mapping  \nListen to the sounds heard across the River building and nature preserve\, then record your observations on a community sound map in the Arts Studio! \n10:30 am – 12 pm\, Court\nThe Birds of Grace Farms  \nObserve birds in the restored meadows and learn how they can support a healthy ecosystem in a natural landscape. A Grace Farms Educator will be in the Court Mezzanine with you to answer any bird questions! \n11 am – 12 pm\, West Barn Hall\nCreating Kindness Through Creatures \nSay hello to a diverse group of friendly animals from Animal Embassy! During this visit\, explore the power of showing kindness and respect to all living things and learn the special role each creature plays in its natural environment. \n12 pm\, library\nWho’s Waking Up? with Horticulture Director Kimberly Kelly and Master Gardener Lauren Elliott \nLearn how plants\, insects\, and amphibians survived the winter\, and how you can support the local ecosystem. \n1 pm\, library\nThe Secret Life of Seeds  \nDiscover the seeds collected from ten biodiverse habitats at Grace Farms with our educator Patrice. \n1 – 3 pm\nNew Canaan Mounted Troop \nOur community partners will be joining us to talk about equine therapy. Join to make a special take-home craft! \n3 pm\, Commons\nGet Closer to your Food with Horticulture Director Kimberly Kelly and Founding Pastry Chef Leah Jones \nStep into the Commons to explore how eating seasonally and being outdoors can help us get the nutrients we need. \n
