DESCRIPTION:With the health and safety of our visitors\, staff\, and community in mind\, Grace Farms temporarily closed to the public on March 9 and remains closed. All programs scheduled during this time will be cancelled or rescheduled. \nAlthough Grace Farms is temporarily closed\, the work of Grace Farms Foundation continues.  \nThe Grace Farms Relief Fund for Connecticut\, which was established with private donations totaling $2.5 million\, to address the critical shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for health care workers in Fairfield and New Haven counties. Grace Farms Foundation has also organized the Grace Farms Alliance Against COVID-19\, an effort comprised of more than half a dozen partner organizations to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. \nLearn more about what we are doing to help serve our community during this time and our COVID-19 response effort. \n\n  \nExplore the River\, a meandering glass building designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects SANAA\, and four site-specific installations commissioned specifically for Grace Farms by artists Thomas Demand\, Olafur Eliasson\, Teresita Fernández\, and Beatriz Milhazes. The tour begins with complimentary tea in the Pavilion. \nGrace Farms Tours include a substantial amount of walking\, including time outdoors between volumes of the River building\, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. \nPlease note that this tour accommodates 18 participants\, and reservations are accepted on a first-come\, first-served basis.

Young artists\, ages 3 to 10\, and their adult caregivers are invited to spend time together experimenting with new materials and techniques during this facilitated program series. \nPlease note that the materials fee is $5 per participant\, payable by credit card at the West Barn Welcome Center. Guardians are required to stay with their children.
