Created in partnership for Grace Farms Foundation by Armenia Coffee Corporation, a 59-year old family owned business, Heavenly Roast Coffee supports justice and community programming by sourcing the best Arabica bean from sustainable, women-owned Rainforest Alliance Farms. Heavenly Roast serves as our model in sourcing from women-owned businesses in developing countries to produce the highest quality, high design socially-conscious products.
Heavenly Roast is served hot daily in the Commons. Heavenly Roast is also available for purchase in the Commons, West Barn and the Library ($5 per 14 oz bag).
"I was given the opportunity by my father to work in an industry that I absolutely love: the coffee business. I have been an importer of coffee for almost 40 years and a manufacturer for more than 10. When the idea of Grace Farms was born I approached Sharon Prince and told her that I wanted to provide the coffee for Grace Farms. I don’t want to sell the coffee to the foundation, I want to donate it as a way to give back for all that I have been given. Sharon had two requests: that the coffee be sustainable and if possible, that it come from women owned farms. We succeeded on both fronts: the coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified and comes from farms owned by women.
The Bible says that we are to offer up to God the best of our harvest, not the least of it. I challenged my team of coffee professionals, who have over a hundred years of combined experience, to develop the best blend they could conceive of. The result is Heavenly Roast and I think it’s the best coffee I have ever tasted. I invite you to try it. You will be supporting Grace Farms, the Rainforest and the women who own these farms."
