Join our March Book Group as we discuss The Third Plate, a revolutionary book in which award-winning chef Dan Barber of Blue Hill considers a radical shift in the way Americans view and consume their food. Bringing together good eating with the most sustainable and regenerative farming practices possible, The Third Plate has been the source of many new and exciting conversations around food sustainability and farm to table since its publication in 2015. Read more on our blog.

This month’s book group will be led by Grace Farms’ Garden Manager and Sustainability Coordinator, Ashley Kenney. While discussing the book we will also enjoy a special edible treat (prepared by Neena Perez) commensurate with Barber’s current mission to change the way we think about food.

 

The Third Plate can be purchased ($18) or borrowed from the Grace Farms Library.

This month's book group will be offered on both Thursday, March 23rd from 7-8 pm and Friday, March 24th from 11 am-12 pm. Choose a time that works best for you and join in our discussion.
